Boots Opticians is looking for a qualified Dispensing Optician to join our Ashton-Under-Lyne store. In this role, you will provide high-level customer care and expert advice to ensure customers receive the best eyewear products suited to their needs.
What You'll Do
- Provide clinical support in store for regulated dispensing.
- Inspire your Optical team by sharing your knowledge to offer the very best service.
- Listen to the needs of customers and offer expertise and advice.
- Help customers choose the correct eyewear and offer guidance to ensure they receive the best product suited to their needs.
- Support the team to deliver an efficient model day and operational processes to ensure that the business trades legally.
- Provide expert knowledge for patients with more specialist requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Registration with the General Optical Council (GOC).
- A passion for your own learning and development, completing all CPD training as part of the GOC requirement.
Nice to Have
- Ability to embrace new technologies.
Team & Environment
You will join a team of 14 colleagues, including 3 resident Optometrists and 1 Pre-Registration Optometrist, reporting directly to the Store Manager.
