Boots Opticians is looking for a Dispensing Optician to provide a high level of customer care and expert advice in store. You will inspire your Optical team by sharing your knowledge and support the team to deliver an efficient model day and operational processes.
What You'll Do
- Provide clinical support in store for regulated dispensing.
- Inspire your Optical team by sharing your knowledge to offer the very best service.
- Listen to the needs of customers and offer expertise and advice.
- Help our customers to choose the correct eyewear and offer guidance to ensure our customers receive the best product suited to their needs.
- Support the team to deliver an efficient model day and operational processes to ensure that the business trades legally.
- Provide expert knowledge for patients with more specialist requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Registration with the General Optical Council (GOC).
- A passion for your own learning and development, completing all CPD training as part of the GOC requirement.
Nice to Have
- Ability to embrace new technologies.
Team & Environment
You will join a team of 14 colleagues, including 3 resident Optometrists and 1 Pre-Registration Optometrist, reporting to the Store Manager.
