Responsibilities
- Perform all press activities required by the area lead, according to work orders.
- Laminate rubber on the mill and prepare mixes as needed to execute pressing.
- Communicate and work closely with Quality Control, Safety, and Maintenance.
- Support general workshop requirements and maintain order and cleanliness (5S) in your work area.
- Maintain a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with company labor practices and health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school.
- Employment certificate in a similar role.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Press Operator.
- Ability to read and interpret 2D/3D drawings.
- Knowledge of materials, metrology, calculations, and quality control.
- Ability to operate power tools (grinder, angle grinder, etc.)
Nice to Have
- Desirable: knowledge of liner models to be pressed and rubber milling/lamination.
