Responsibilities
- Configure, calibrate, and run single-color or multi-color offset printing equipment
- Complete all pre-production setup tasks, including mounting plates or cylinders, inspecting them for defects, verifying image alignment, preparing blankets, and adjusting tension and registration settings
- Adjust ink density and press settings before production to ensure output meets quality standards
- Carry out cleaning, lubrication, and routine upkeep of the press, including minor fixes and replacing damaged or worn components
- Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks as specified by the equipment manufacturer
