Role Overview
This position supports government and defense clients in Western and Northern Europe, focusing on intelligence and national security applications. The Senior Solutions Architect acts as a technical advisor, translating customer challenges into tailored solutions using satellite imagery and geospatial platforms. You will lead demonstrations, engage with technical and executive stakeholders, and support sales efforts through proposal responses and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver technical presentations and live demonstrations that showcase platform functionality and data capabilities.
- Establish trusted relationships with customer teams, providing guidance on system architecture and integration approaches.
- Advise on solution designs that align with mission-specific requirements in defense and intelligence operations.
- Support bid processes by contributing technical content to RFIs, RFPs, and tenders.
- Collaborate with sales to develop account strategies and drive engagement with prospects.
- Bridge customer feedback to internal teams including Product, Customer Success, and Business Development.
- Meet quarterly targets for sales support and customer engagement activities.
- Present insights and pipeline updates to leadership, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems.
- Lead training sessions and workshops for customer users and internal team members.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of six years supporting European defense or intelligence organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or scientific field.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance for sensitive engagements.
- Fluency in French, both written and spoken; professional proficiency in English.
- Proven experience with GIS and remote sensing tools used in defense contexts.
- Background in IMINT, ISR, or related intelligence disciplines.
- Hands-on experience with QGIS, SocetGXP, ArcGIS, GDAL, or similar geospatial software.
- Proficiency in Python for processing imagery, managing vector data, and building data workflows via APIs.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating across international teams and customer groups.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and solve problems independently.
- Experience leading customer workshops and technical training events.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based in France or the UK, requiring three days per week in office when feasible, with up to 50% international travel primarily across Europe and the United States. The position demands flexibility to meet customer needs across time zones and operational environments.
