Responsibilities
- Design and implement lesson plans with flexibility to adapt throughout the academic year
- Adjust teaching methods to address varied learning needs and abilities
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic and developmental progress
- Apply instructional strategies grounded in educational research
- Maintain a structured and respectful classroom environment
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging space conducive to learning
- Use curricula that align with student diversity in culture, language, and learning background
- Support consistent school culture by upholding established behavioral expectations
- Engage families through regular communication about student growth and development
- Integrate technology tools into daily instruction to enhance learning outcomes
- Assist in organizing and carrying out non-academic school activities as required
- Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff
- Complete additional assigned tasks in support of school operations
