Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end estimating proposals, from defining project scope to final cost analysis and submission
- Analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to fully understand material, labor, and timeline requirements
- Partner with the Delivery team during early planning stages before project launch
- Evaluate design drawings and provide feedback to identify buildability challenges, cost-saving alternatives, and precise work scope
- Take ownership of implementing necessary revisions or adjustments
- Manage cash flow effectively and communicate potential profit opportunities to project stakeholders
- Oversee a thorough subcontractor bidding process to ensure all general contractors bid on identical project scopes, timelines, and conditions
- Verify that project schedules support accurate estimating and procurement activities
- Develop detailed and evolving budgets during client acquisition and project launch phases, tailored to client needs
- Ensure each project meets profitability targets, satisfies client expectations, and uses qualified subcontractors
- Develop and maintain strong subcontractor partnerships focused on prioritizing client success
