Requirements
- Medical Terminology proficiency by exam
- One (1) year admitting, billing, or registration experience in a health care setting OR Graduate of a health vocational program such as Medical Assistance, Medical Billing & Insurance, or Medical General OR AA Degree and six months healthcare experience
Nice to Have
- One (1) year of post high school business or college course work
- National Association of Healthcare Access Management Certification
- Minimum one (1) year experience in dealing with the public in a customer service role
