Engineering Industries eXcellence is hiring an MES Consultant to specialize in Siemens Opcenter implementations within Process Manufacturing industries. In this role, you will focus on developing and troubleshooting MES implementation logic, integrating with third-party systems, and supporting solution modifications.

What You'll Do

Work with the service manager to define project tasks and identify task duration.
Report to the service manager on task advancement.
Work independently under the guidance of technical leads.
Understand and troubleshoot technical issues related to software development, conflict in branches and releases, and engineering tasks.
Apply project best practices and support changes that can streamline operations.
Build validation tests and work with the service manager in executing unit, regression, integration, and functional tests.
Train and coach end-users on MES solutions and help drive solution acceptance.
Identify security and performance issues and potential weaknesses in applications and suggest solutions.
Help identify implementation risks.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience in Siemens Opcenter Execution Foundation and process.
Experience with MES interface with 3rd party systems like automation systems (e.g., DeltaV, Siemens PCS7, Siemens SIMATIC Batch, Rockwell PLCs/SCADA).
Programming experience in languages such as C#, Java, C++, VBA/VBScript, and Python.
Knowledge of software release management on multiple environments, including handling of pool requests, merge operations, solution building, deployment, and testing.
Previous Application Management Services (AMS) Support experience.
Comfortable working in a 24x7 support model.
Strong ability to work in teams, including virtual and remote teams.
Strong communication skills.
High degree of adaptability to learn new technologies.

Nice to Have

Mendix Programming experience.
Experience with Team Foundation Server and/or Jira.
