Mirantis is hiring a Pre-Sales Solution Architect for our client-facing technical team. In this role, you will partner with sales, product, and engineering to design and demonstrate cloud and AI solutions that deliver measurable outcomes for enterprise clients. As a strategic technical advisor, you’ll help clients navigate digital transformation, drive solution adoption, and help shape product direction.
What You'll Do
- Deliver engaging technical presentations and live demonstrations illustrating solution capabilities and business value.
- Collaborate with sales to uncover client goals, assess their technology landscape, and architect tailored solutions using Mirantis and open-source platforms.
- Lead proof-of-concept projects and technical workshops to validate solution fit, feasibility, and alignment with client strategies.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, developing long-term relationships with client stakeholders and advocating for their needs internally.
- Provide post-sales technical support in collaboration with the Mirantis Customer Success team.
- Research technical topics needed to support customer engagements and keep up to date with the latest relevant technologies.
- Help build and nurture a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and teamwork across Mirantis.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years experience in a pre-sales, solutions architecture, or technical consulting role for cloud-native or enterprise software.
- A deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes, OpenStack, Docker, microservices, and public cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- A deep understanding of AI/ML infrastructure tools (e.g., Kubeflow, MLflow, NVIDIA AI), and how they integrate with cloud-native platforms.
- A deep understanding of DevOps and automation tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
- A deep understanding of observability tooling, including open-source monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Strong understanding of the competitive landscape within the cloud infrastructure and open-source ecosystem.
- Track record of delivering outcomes for Fortune 500 clients and influencing senior IT/engineering leaders.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to technical and business audiences.
- Ability to travel 1–3 times per month for in-person client sessions as needed.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Industry certifications (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, etc.) are a plus.
- Experience with enterprise security, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Comfort working in a global, remote, or hybrid environment and managing projects across multiple stakeholders.
- Proven problem-solving, consultative, and relationship-building skills.

Benefits & Compensation
- $160,000-$175,000 per year
