Deliver specialized, evidence-based therapy for individuals and families affected by eating disorders in a fully remote clinical environment. As a Pre-Licensed Therapist, you’ll work within a collaborative care team to provide individual, family, and group sessions using proven models such as Family-Based Treatment (FBT), Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E), and CBT for ARFID. Your focus will be on supporting patients of all ages and backgrounds through structured telehealth sessions and secure between-visit messaging.
What You'll Do
- Conduct therapy sessions across the lifespan, tailoring evidence-based interventions to patient needs and treatment goals
- Maintain an active caseload, performing assessments, diagnoses, and ongoing clinical care within a virtual platform
- Collaborate with medical providers, dietitians, mentors, and external clinicians to ensure coordinated treatment
- Engage in regular supervision, team meetings, and training to support clinical development
- Use Equip’s electronic medical record system to document care and communicate securely with the care team
- Meet state licensure requirements, including obtaining and renewing associate credentials in California with full financial support from Equip
Requirements
- Master’s or doctoral degree in a mental health field, with eligibility for associate licensure in California (e.g., MFT, LCSW, LPCC, or psychology)
- Commitment to delivering safe, effective virtual care to patients with varying levels of acuity and co-occurring conditions
- Strong interest in eating disorder treatment and evidence-based clinical practice
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary, mission-driven environment
- Flexibility to provide care during evening hours and within patient time zones, including two evenings per week until 8 PM
