Responsibilities
- Lead the growth and evolution of a forward-thinking national practice focused on aviation infrastructure
- Establish and sustain strong relationships with clients to win aviation engineering projects across the country
- Serve as the technical authority in developing civil designs, plans, specifications, and cost projections for landside and airside systems, including pavement design, drainage, grading, utility networks, aircraft operations, roadways, parking, erosion controls, and infrastructure supporting runways, terminals, and cargo zones
- Guide, mentor, and supervise engineering teams to achieve project design goals and high-quality deliverables
- Support recruitment initiatives to expand the aviation engineering team with qualified professionals
- Create and execute strategic business development plans to secure diverse airport projects, including those funded by federal and state programs or private developers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote and deliver aviation-related services to clients across North America
