Responsibilities
- Establish standardized virtual development workflows for powertrain systems
- Create and deploy methodologies for model-based calibration and parameter identification tools
- Enhance existing group-wide methods and technical tools on an ongoing basis
- Build and maintain 1D and 0D system-level and vehicle-level models of powertrain components
- Provide modeling frameworks that support control system development and calibration
- Maintain high accuracy and fidelity of models for virtual validation
- Integrate powertrain-specific software controls and logic into simulation platforms
- Perform virtual validation of control strategies using simulation environments
- Support software validation through simulation-based test procedures
- Apply developed methods to increase efficiency in vehicle calibration workflows
- Plan and coordinate test campaigns to validate models and processes
- Conduct detailed analysis and interpretation of test data
- Derive technical insights and define corrective actions from test outcomes
- Ensure consistency between simulation predictions and real-world test data
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate project progress and findings
- Coordinate with internal divisions through regular communication
- Assist in defining project requirements and technical specifications
- Act as a subject matter expert within the team
- Contribute to overall team performance and project success
- Support resolution of technical challenges and issues
- Collaborate with other simulation, design, and evaluation teams
