Responsibilities
- Carry out thorough evaluations of current PowerBuilder and PowerServer systems to assess functionality and health.
- Investigate underlying causes of performance, reliability, scalability, and operational challenges.
- Review application design, deployment setups, and integration processes across systems.
- Detect technical vulnerabilities, inefficiencies, and areas where performance can be enhanced.
- Produce in-depth audit summaries, technical insights, and practical improvement suggestions.
- Work with stakeholders to establish strategies for system migration, modernization, or enhancement.
- Create long-term technical roadmaps and detailed plans for system upgrades.
- Offer expert advice on improving application security, performance, and modernization paths.
- Support architectural decisions using feasibility reviews and technical evaluations.
- Assess outdated applications and propose suitable modernization methods.
- Record findings from assessments and keep accurate, up-to-date technical documentation.
- Coordinate with both technical and business units during evaluation and planning phases.
