Lead and deliver complex power delivery infrastructure projects for electric utilities, overseeing engineering design from concept through completion. This role is responsible for managing project performance, including cost, schedule, scope, and quality across multiple assignments within the Power Delivery Solutions division.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct project teams in the execution of substation and power delivery system designs, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards
- Monitor financial performance, prepare estimates, manage budgets, and generate accurate monthly billing and accruals
- Develop and implement recovery plans when project variances occur
- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and internal quality control protocols
- Coordinate with engineering leads, functional managers, and subcontractors to meet deliverable deadlines
- Engage directly with clients to report progress, resolve issues, and communicate risks
- Prepare bid packages and respond to Requests for Proposal, contributing to project acquisition
- Identify opportunities for business development and expanded client engagement
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field, along with at least five years of project management experience in the electric power sector. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project or P6 and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required. Experience with AI-driven productivity solutions is a plus. A valid U.S. driver’s license is necessary, with occasional travel expected (less than 5%).

Work Environment
This hybrid position offers remote work capabilities with primary operations based in the Poughkeepsie, NY area. Periodic client-related travel may be required.
