About the Role
The individual will be responsible for building and optimizing Power BI dashboards, transforming complex data into actionable insights, and working closely with stakeholders to meet reporting needs.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards
- Translate business requirements into visual reporting solutions
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts on data models
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports
- Optimize report performance for large datasets
- Maintain documentation for reporting workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve data connectivity issues
- Implement security standards in report access controls
- Support end-user training and adoption of dashboards
- Integrate Power BI with various data sources
- Develop reusable report templates
- Monitor and improve data refresh processes
- Participate in agile development cycles
- Validate data integrity during ETL processes
- Apply best practices in data visualization design
- Work with stakeholders to refine reporting needs
- Automate recurring reporting tasks
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies
- Conduct performance testing on dashboards
- Assist in migration of legacy reports
- Utilize DAX for advanced calculations
- Maintain version control for report development
- Provide input on data warehouse structure
- Support ad hoc analytical requests
- Stay current with Power BI feature updates
