Responsibilities
- Manage a pipeline that contains loans that are to be audited daily
- Meet the required minimum of audited files to be completed daily
- Participate in internal audits by executing assigned tasks in accordance with the Departments methodology and professional standards
- Complete work within the established timeframes with guidance from the Manager
- Confirm the validity of fees charged and allocate costs to the proper departments
- Conduct effective root cause analysis of identified findings
- Review and analyze loan history and milestone timelines within the LOS systems
- Accurately document completed work, including findings, in clear and concise fashion in accordance with the Post Closing department’s methodology
- Oversee the PA Reconciliation shared mailbox and provide updates to the secondary partners on any purchase advise reconciliation inquiries
- Log all curtailed and aged loans into the AMPED system
- Actively participate in meetings with Post Closing management and provide updates on the respective areas of review
- Learn and understand how to effectively incorporate data analytics
- Actively seek out knowledge in the areas of assigned audit activities
- Support innovative ideas, new technologies and improved methods
- Additional duties as assigned
