EY is looking for a PM/PMO Staff consultant to join our Transformation Delivery practice. In this role, you will work within the Program Management Office (PMO) or Project Portfolio Management processes, using EY frameworks and methodologies to manage high-profile, complex programs. You'll be instrumental in designing core processes, supporting delivery teams, and leveraging technology to provide strategic insights that drive program success for a diverse range of clients.
What You'll Do
- Work with clients on Program Management Office (PMO) or Project Portfolio Management business processes and solutions.
- Apply proven EY frameworks and methodologies based on industry standards to manage complex programs.
- Partner with engagement leadership to design and establish core processes.
- Support a delivery team in planning, controlling, and executing complex programs, PMOs, and Transformation Offices.
- Gain valuable insights and help drive strategic conversations with key stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Technology Solutions team to creatively leverage technology in solution design.
- Perform Assessments and Process Design.
- Develop and execute Capability Roadmaps.
- Set up and operate PMOs.
- Support planning activities for large, complex client programs.
- Own tracking activities for key milestones and deliverables to ensure projects stay on track.
- Develop key reports and communicate relevant client insights.
- Cultivate and participate in business development opportunities.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks.
- Develop and maintain relationships with team members across EY practices.
- Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
- Play an active role in counselling and mentoring junior consultants.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree (BE - B. Tech / MCA) and a minimum of 1-3 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and a minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
- Approximately 1+ years experience on large scale complex programs providing consulting services in at least one of the following areas: PMO/EPMO design/set up and delivery, program road-mapping design, resource/capacity management, program execution, PMO maturity assessment, PMO Setup & Operations, End-to End Portfolio Management implementation, End-to End ERP implementation (preferred).
- Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Flexible to work in UK time zones.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Knowledge of Project Management tool such as MS Project/Clarity PPM/Primavera.
Nice to Have
- MBA or relevant graduate degree is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile concepts.
- Business analysis skills.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Potential certifications include: PMP, Six Sigma, Scrum, Agile SAFe.
- Sector experience in areas such as Automotive, Advanced Manufacturing & Mobility, Consumer Products and Goods, Media and Entertainment, Life Sciences, and Consumer Products.
