Oaktree is seeking an Analyst to join the Global Opportunities strategy team in London. This team focuses on opportunistic, value-oriented investments across EMEA and Latin America, spanning asset classes including private equity, listed equities, distressed debt, convertible securities, and real estate.
What You'll Do
- Create detailed financial models and investment memoranda for potential and existing investments.
- Assist in underwriting and due diligence of investment opportunities across multiple sectors.
- Conduct business, market, and industry research, supporting accounting and legal due diligence where applicable.
- Assist in monitoring and managing the portfolio of existing investments.
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience with a top-tier Investment Bank, Private Equity, Restructuring Advisory Boutique, Hedge Fund, or Strategy Consulting Firm across Corporate and Real Estate sectors.
- Demonstrated competency in financial analysis, due diligence, valuations, preparing investment memorandums, and advanced financial modeling.
- Proven ability to multi-task and grasp new structures and concepts quickly.
- Bachelor's degree from a top university.
- Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Very organized with excellent time management skills.
- Eagerness to work hard in a team environment.
- Solution oriented with a demonstrated ability to add value.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English plus one other European language.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree and/or a concentration in Business, Finance, or Economics.
Team & Environment
The London-based team consists of 13 investment professionals and focuses regionally on EMEA and Latin America.

This is a local role based in our London office.
