Quantiphi is seeking a Platform Architect - Alibaba Cloud to lead the design and implementation of cloud-native, multi-cloud platform solutions for a global industrial enterprise client. This role focuses on integrating Alibaba Cloud services with Google Cloud Platform capabilities to support industrial operations.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain reusable platform modules, including shared infrastructure, shared services, reference architectures, containers, and deployment packages
- Analyze workflows, gather requirements, and identify reusable components for scalable multi-cloud architectures
- Design, architect, and implement self-service, self-healing platforms with synthetic monitoring and advanced alerting capabilities
- Architect seamless integration between Alibaba Cloud services and Google Cloud Platform for a global industrial enterprise client’s industrial operations
- Apply strong expertise in service-oriented architecture, cloud-based web services, design patterns, and architectural frameworks
- Lead solution design across hyperscaler ecosystems, with a primary focus on GCP and Alibaba Cloud
- Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and a cloud-native automation-first mindset
- Drive CI/CD automation using tools such as Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, and Docker
- Design and deliver platform solutions tailored to a global industrial enterprise client’s manufacturing, industrial IoT, and automation use cases
- Lead architecture discussions, solution design reviews, and complex troubleshooting with client stakeholders
- Introduce innovative cloud technologies, tools, and processes to drive measurable business value for industrial applications
- Implement Alibaba Cloud DevOps and networking solutions, including HTTPDNS for anti-hijacking, high-precision, low-latency domain name resolution
- Leverage Alibaba Cloud enterprise collaboration tools, security services, and AI capabilities
- Design hybrid and multi-cloud architectures that combine Alibaba Cloud strengths with GCP’s advanced AI/ML services
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Hands-on proficiency with Alibaba Cloud services
- Strong experience with service-oriented architecture, microservices, and cloud-native design patterns
- Solid understanding of cloud services including compute, storage, networking, messaging (SNS, SQS), and automation using Terraform or CFT
- Experience building and operating container hosting platforms using Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and Cassandra
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Go
- Strong background in systems automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices
Nice to Have
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect and/or Alibaba Cloud certifications
- Experience with industrial automation, manufacturing systems, or IoT platforms
- Knowledge of enterprise security architectures, compliance frameworks, and best practices
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, and Grafana
