What You'll Do
- Architect and maintain secure Azure environments that support sensitive healthcare data, including medical imaging formats such as DICOM.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable consistent, automated software deployments using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep to ensure consistent, repeatable deployments.
- Enforce security best practices and regulatory compliance for protected health information (PHI), including adherence to HIPAA requirements.
- Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to maintain system health and performance.
- Collaborate with data and engineering teams to optimize cloud usage, reduce costs, and support large-scale data workflows.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing Azure cloud environments in enterprise settings.
- Proven background in DevOps practices, with at least 4 years focused on CI/CD pipeline development.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools—Terraform preferred, or ARM/Bicep.
- Hands-on work with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes, particularly AKS.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- At least 2 years working under regulated compliance frameworks like HIPAA.
- Demonstrated ability to design secure systems for handling sensitive data.
- Strong independent judgment and experience leading technical direction.
- Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with medical imaging systems and DICOM standards, including platforms like Orthanc or dcm4che.
- Experience supporting Real-World Data (RWD) or large-scale data architectures.
- Knowledge of Azure-native databases such as Cosmos DB or Azure SQL, with performance tuning expertise.
