CHEP Italia SRL / Brambles is hiring a Plant Manager to provide leadership and vision for our U.S. production site. You will be responsible for operational excellence, outstanding customer service, and fostering an inclusive culture while driving results in compliance, safety, and people development.
What You'll Do
- Lead and be accountable for the health and safety of all employees, contractors, and visitors, ensuring strict adherence to corporate and legislative requirements.
- Champion the continuous improvement of safety performance aligned with Brambles’ Zero Harm initiative and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- In collaboration with the maintenance team, oversee equipment reliability across the site to ensure operational continuity and efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with all task-specific responsibilities outlined in CHEP procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols.
- Drive the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement processes to optimize plant performance in safety, quality, and cost control.
- Maintain site security and ensure compliance with service center requirements, including managing storage, stock levels, and movement of materials.
- Manage, lead, and develop plant staff, fostering accountability and ensuring team members meet or exceed performance expectations.
- Ensure that customer expectations, both internal and external, are consistently met or exceeded through effective plant operations.
- Drive innovation, market share growth, and customer service by engaging partners to understand supply chain opportunities.
- Achieve financial goals by managing productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
- Coach personnel to model the values and culture of the company.
- Communicate effectively with customers, employees, peers, and senior management.
- Collaborate with the company network to maximize knowledge of core competencies and best practices.
- Ensure safety, accounting, and hiring policies and procedures are known and adhered to by managers and staff.
- Hold full P&L responsibility, analyzing statements to determine efficiencies and inefficiencies in business practices.
- Serve as a resource to the Director and Regional Manager for special projects and deliver the overall vision of the region.
