Responsibilities
- Track construction milestones to ensure alignment with finalized engineering designs
- Detect and support resolution of operational concerns arising during build-out
- Lead team development for conducting equipment punch listing during installation phases
- Contribute to reviews identifying process safety risks, including Process Hazard Analysis
- Create staffing strategies for production engineers and operators, including recruitment, supervision, and training support
- Establish operational protocols and quality assurance processes aligned with fixed design requirements
- Formulate change management systems for plant modifications, document revisions, and ensure compliance with hazard reviews and applicable safety standards
- Oversee creation of system documentation and handover packages for operational transition
- Direct commissioning activities for systems being transferred to operations
- Authorize final acceptance of systems prior to operational release
- Build schedules for system commissioning, unit startup, and full plant activation
- Manage procurement of startup materials, including initial stock of supplies, safety gear, and personnel equipment

- Up to 10% travel may be necessary
- Must be able to obtain forklift and boom lift operator certifications
- Occasional weekend work is required
- Some flexibility in work schedule is expected
- Occasional work outside standard business hours is required
- May be asked to work second shift, starting at 3:00pm local time
- May be asked to work third shift, starting at 11:00pm local time
- Extended work hours may be needed to meet launch deadlines and critical project milestones
