McKesson Corporation seeks a bilingual Planificateur principal(e) de l’approvisionnement / Sr. Supply Planner to play a pivotal role in our supply chain. You will drive inventory planning and procurement for a specific portfolio, ensuring robust financial performance, consistent product availability, and optimal inventory levels aligned with strategic company goals.
What You'll Do
- Develop the inventory replenishment plan for your assigned product/vendor portfolio in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Formulate strategies and recommendations by balancing financial, space, logistical, and operational constraints.
- Utilize MRP functionalities to generate purchase orders daily, seeking optimal balance between key performance indicators.
- Prioritize tasks and resolve challenges from unforeseen events, focusing on preventive measures.
- Monitor portfolio service levels closely and address underperforming elements promptly.
- Conduct special operations such as forward buying or seasonal promotions.
- Proactively identify and communicate inventory challenges and upcoming risks using analytical techniques.
- Collaborate with Strategic Procurement to facilitate revenue generation initiatives by analyzing complex proposals.
- Model the supply plan in anticipation of special business events within the portfolio.
- Collaborate with Operations and Inventory Optimization teams to define purchasing parameters that improve efficiency.
- Work with Demand & Events Planning to develop internal and external forecasts and support planned engagements.
- Participate in operational problem-solving and general supplier performance management.
- Support Strategic Procurement in negotiations regarding commercial gains and inventory commitments.
- Drive innovation to improve productivity and align with objectives.
- Automate, streamline, and improve processes involving different teams.
- Initiate, lead, and/or actively contribute to cross-functional continuous improvement projects.
- Act as an expert and mentor, guiding supply planner colleagues.
- Prepare and present summaries and presentations for management.
- Synthesize data and communicate informed conclusions and action plans using data analysis tools.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration meetings and represent management to share updates.
- Occasionally replace or support other supply planners and related activities.
- Maintain relevant knowledge of product categories and stay informed of market trends.
- Act as an ambassador for McKesson's corporate values.
What We're Looking For
- 7 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, and/or Planning.
- Bachelor's degree in a supply chain-related field, business administration, operations management, or equivalent.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure and prioritize appropriately.
- Expert in data collection and action-oriented analysis.
- Strong business acumen.
- Attention to detail with advanced synthesis ability.
- Ability to solve problems independently and proactively.
- Fully bilingual, both orally and in writing (English & French).
- Proficiency in ERP and replenishment systems.
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
- Expertise in using data visualization tools, such as Power BI, to analyze and interpret data via dashboards.
- Collaborative team player with all levels of management and team members.
- Communicates clearly and effectively, adapting messages based on audience and for all organizational levels.
- Ability to influence and encourage accountability across teams.
- Ability to work as a member of cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Retail, Distribution, or Life Sciences trade.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (e.g., yellow belt) and/or professional designation in supply chain management (e.g., CPIM).
