This non-clinical position allows you to apply your clinical expertise without direct patient care on a flexible schedule, ideal for supplemental income.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate medical records to determine the medical necessity of proposed orthopedic treatments and surgeries
- Review appealed cases and provide objective, evidence-based recommendations
- Submit clear, concise reports using Dane Street’s secure online portal
- Follow nationally recognized clinical guidelines and best practices
What We're Looking For
- Active, unrestricted Louisiana medical license
- Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery
- Current clinical or surgical practice
- Excellent written communication and analytical skills
- Comfortable working independently in a digital, remote setting
