CVS Health is offering a temporary Physical Therapy Intern position for aspiring clinicians. You will apply your academic knowledge in a real healthcare setting, working under supervision to gain practical, hands-on clinical experience. This role provides a direct path to contribute to a rehabilitation team and develop essential professional skills.
What You'll Do
- Assist licensed physical therapists in conducting initial patient evaluations and assessments of functional abilities.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals.
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including exercises and modalities, under direct supervision.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatments and progress in the electronic medical records system.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, infection control protocols, and hospital policies.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Enrolled in an accredited Physical Therapy program or a recent graduate waiting to take the licensing examination.
- 0-1 year of relevant experience.
Nice to Have
- Grace Period for License Eligibility [Massachusetts] - MGB Internal.
Technical Stack

You will join a rehabilitation team, reporting directly to and learning from Licensed Physical Therapists.
