Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments of patients' physical condition, including mobility, strength, balance, posture, and ability to perform daily tasks.
• Create and carry out personalized therapy plans based on patient evaluation findings.
• Keep detailed, up-to-date records and generate required reports following facility guidelines.
• Communicate respectfully and effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare team members.
• Oversee the work of therapy assistants, exercise specialists, technicians, athletic trainers, and trainees in both direct and indirect care settings.
• Ensure all supervised staff deliver treatments consistent with the established therapy plan.
• Support the growth of therapy programs and engage in learning opportunities for professional development.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives as assigned by leadership.
• Follow state licensing regulations and uphold the ethical standards set by the national physical therapy association.
