Responsibilities
- Perform detailed assessments of patients' physical abilities, including range of motion, strength, posture, walking ability, balance, and daily living independence.
- Create and carry out customized therapy plans based on patient evaluation findings.
- Keep precise documentation and generate required reports following established facility protocols.
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare team members.
- Oversee the work of Physical Therapy Assistants, Exercise Physiologists, Technicians, Certified Athletic Trainers, and trainees in both direct and indirect care settings.
- Ensure all supervised staff deliver treatments consistent with the established therapy evaluation and plan.
- Support the development of therapy programs and engage in learning opportunities for ongoing professional development.
- Participate in community outreach events as assigned by the Clinic Director.
