Provide skilled physical therapy services to individuals with physical impairments or disabilities resulting from injury, illness, or surgery. Responsibilities
- Perform initial and ongoing evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Design therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, mobility, balance, and coordination
- Use manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities in accordance with best practices
- Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
- Strong understanding of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to educate patients and families
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and electronic medical records
This role requires consistent attention to patient safety, adherence to ethical standards, and participation in professional development activities. Experience in outpatient or clinical settings is preferred.
