Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and design individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes
- Analyze physician referrals and patient medical histories to determine appropriate therapy interventions
- Deliver hands-on therapy in accordance with established clinical protocols and care standards
- Record patient progress, clinical findings, and instructions for patients and their caregivers
- Supervise and direct the care delivered by therapy assistants and rehabilitation technicians
- Develop a documented plan of care with measurable goals derived from initial evaluations
- Carry out prescribed therapy programs and administer necessary therapeutic treatments
- Maintain clear and professional communication with patients, families, physicians, and insurers
- Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on schedule
