Baya Systems is hiring a Physical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end physical implementation flows from RTL to GDS, covering synthesis, floor-planning, placement, routing, clock tree synthesis, and timing and power closure
  • Execute physical design and implementation across block-level and system-level components for high-performance circuits
  • Work closely with micro-architects to evaluate trade-offs in performance, power, and area for efficient design solutions
  • Conduct feasibility studies for physical implementation and provide design guidance to achieve superior PPA metrics
  • Create and refine methodologies and process recipes for each phase of the physical design flow
  • Run comprehensive physical design validation flows, including timing, power, and EM/IR analysis, to ensure design integrity
  • Carry out design rule checking, layout versus schematic verification, and other physical verification tasks to meet sign-off requirements
