Responsibilities
- Set up and confirm functionality of test equipment such as high-speed cameras, camera supports, racks, and related hardware for vehicle and component evaluations.
- Operate still and high-speed video cameras, diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools during testing operations.
- Assist test teams in preparing and carrying out test procedures.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment for self and others.
- Record high-resolution video and photographic documentation during full-scale automotive crash tests.
- Execute tests according to client specifications, established procedures, and work directives.
- Precisely configure and position high-speed camera systems prior to each test event.
- Confirm all equipment is functioning correctly before and after tests.
- Keep the workspace clean, orderly, and conducive to efficient operations.
- Process high-speed video and still images for delivery to clients.
- Ensure all photographic equipment is cleaned, maintained, and ready for use.
- Contribute to identifying and applying new tools, techniques, or workflows to enhance quality, speed, and effectiveness.
- Keep accurate records including logs, checklists, and inventory documentation for all work areas.
