WCIV NEWS is looking for a part-time Photographer/Editor to edit video for daily news coverage, special projects, and sweep period pieces. This role involves close collaboration with the news team in a high-energy environment where meeting daily deadlines is critical.
What You'll Do
- Edit video for daily news coverage, special projects, and sweep period pieces
- Take in news feeds from news bureaus and various news organizations
- Collaborate with anchors, reporters, and producers on video elements of newscasts
- Meet daily deadlines in a high-energy working environment
What We're Looking For
- A college degree or a minimum of one (1) year of relative experience in the field
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Final Cut Pro and Avid NewsCutter XP editing technology
