RemoteVA PH is hiring a Remote Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy operations in a detail-oriented, fully remote position. You will join our growing team by handling prescription-related tasks and responding to patient inquiries from your quiet home office.
What You'll Do
- Answer incoming phone calls from patients, providers, and insurance companies
- Process prescription orders and refills accurately and efficiently
- Verify patient information and ensure proper documentation
- Communicate with pharmacists to clarify prescriptions or resolve issues
- Assist with insurance claims and prior authorizations as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
- Use pharmacy software systems to update records and manage workflows
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, remote work environment
- Reliable internet connection and quiet home office setup
Nice to Have
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent experience
