While functioning as a 3rd year pharmacy intern, under direct pharmacist supervision, you are instrumental in maintaining a secure and efficient Retail Pharmacy environment that delivers exceptional patient experiences. Responsibilities include: • Patient Safety • Pharmacy Professional Practice • Regulatory Requirements • Quality Assurance • Customer Service • Inventory Management • Workflow Management excluding final prescription verification Primary Roles and Responsibilities: A fundamental aspect of the pharmacy intern position involves maintaining customer and patient wellness through implementing and managing patient care programs. Additionally, you will: • Lead with empathy – demonstrate compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues • Explore innovative approaches to growth, collaboration, and outcome improvement • Align team members around organizational purpose • Cultivate a collaborative environment promoting care, enthusiasm, and professional pride Education: • Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited pharmacy program Required Qualifications: • Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited pharmacy program • 0-3 years relevant work experience • Must possess or be processing intern/technician licensure • Strong communication and presentation capabilities • Complete state-mandated training within specified timeframes • Ability to: - Maintain consistent attendance, including night and weekend shifts - Remain mobile and upright for extended periods - Lift, scan, and handle items - Demonstrate finger dexterity - Reach overhead and extend limbs - Execute precise mechanical adjustments - Stoop and utilize lower body muscles - Maintain close visual acuity - Communicate orally with colleagues and customers - Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs Additional Capabilities: • Consistent attendance across varied shifts • Complete supervisory-directed tasks • Obtain required licensure within regulatory guidelines Preferred Qualifications: • Immunization eligibility • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency • Pursue patient immunization opportunities Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.75 We are pioneering an innovative healthcare approach, making quality care accessible, affordable, and seamless.
