About the Role

Aircraft Modification Specialist - Structural Systems - F-15SA Upgrades - Saudi Arabian Deployment Company: Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Global Services (BGS) is recruiting a Structural Modification Technician to support our F-15SA Upgrade team. The Modification Specialist – Structural Systems - F‑15SA Upgrades will execute structural enhancement tasks at King Abdulaziz Air Base, Saudi Arabia, applying required technical expertise to deliver safe, compliant, and timely modification outcomes. This is a long-term international assignment positioned 100% on-site at King Abdulaziz Air Base, Dharan Saudi Arabia. International relocation/assignment benefits will be provided. Ability to meet international assignment health requirements is mandatory. If accompanied, family must also satisfy international assignment health prerequisites. This role reports to the Operations Manager – F-15SA Upgrades. (The selected candidate will be integrated in alignment with program initiation and execution timelines; adaptability in start date and working hours may be required to meet operational demands). Position Responsibilities: - Modification Implementation & Production Support: Execute modification tasks on F-15SA structural systems supporting project specifications, utilizing aircraft technical orders, engineering instructions, blueprints, and authorized publications. - Structural Enhancements: Install, diagnose, repair, and modify structural components, validating work execution and functionality. - Technical Interpretation & Problem Resolution: Interpret technical documentation (drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, technical orders etc.). - Work Sequencing & Coordination: Collaborate with maintenance controllers, coordinators, and management to sequence and prioritize tasks; ensure tooling, materials, and test equipment availability for scheduled and emergent requirements. - Airworthiness & Test Verification: Support operational tests, ground checks, and component inspections to verify airworthiness and conformity to modification and safety standards. - Safety, Quality & Compliance: Adhere to Boeing standards, applicable regulatory requirements, QA, and Safety Management System (SMS) processes; participate in audits and contribute to corrective actions where necessary. - Documentation & Records: Complete precise technical records, modification logs, test reports, and discrepancy documentation aligned with program, customer, and regulatory requirements. - Continuous Improvement & Training: Contribute to LEAN/BPS/CI initiatives to enhance throughput and quality and participate in/support training programs. - Flexibility & Shift Work: Support a dynamic environment with overtime as required to meet program timelines and execution demands. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): - Minimum 3 years of aircraft modification or maintenance experience with demonstrated aircraft structures competence - Proven ability to read and interpret technical orders, engineering drawings, and maintenance publications - Hands-on experience using structural and standard aircraft tooling - Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to work in a multi-disciplined environment supporting modification programs Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - Formal qualification in an aircraft engineering/technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience - 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience or experience on fighter aircraft platforms (F-15 highly desirable) or other military fixed-wing platforms - Prior experience supporting aircraft modification programs, MRO, or production environments - Familiarity with maintenance recording systems and tool control systems Expatriate Information: - Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on country requirements - Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable - Employment is contingent on satisfying all labor and immigration formalities of the country - International assignment offer will be dependent on obtaining clearances from International Health Services and receiving a visa/work permit, applying to candidate and accompanying family members Relocation: Relocation benefits will be provided only for the international assignment.
