Responsibilities
- Initiate initial contact with clients following case assignment
- Explain the fee reduction process thoroughly to clients
- Accurately record phone conversations, case updates, and document uploads in the digital case management system
- Ensure legal releases are correctly connected within the Litify platform
- Verify the status of Personal Injury Protection (PIP) benefits
- Confirm damage claims using a comprehensive list of healthcare providers
- Validate outstanding amounts on medical accounts
- Negotiate payment terms and balances directly with medical providers
- Issue reduction notices promptly upon resolution
- Maintain biweekly client contact to address concerns and provide updates
- Conduct internal case evaluations and performance audits
- Create and track weekly forecast reports
- Answer incoming calls, screen callers, and direct them to appropriate personnel
- Take messages and redirect calls to voicemail when team members are unavailable
- Document all phone interactions and upload relevant files to the digital system
- Support office operations with tasks such as faxing, copying, and file maintenance
- Sustain consistent client communication and respond to inquiries
- Secure insurance coverage details in a timely manner
- Monitor ongoing medical treatment and verify continuity of care
- Acquire medical records and billing documents from providers
- Coordinate with insurers to update treatment progress and adjuster data
- Carry out assigned administrative and case-specific responsibilities
