Responsibilities
- Initiate initial contact with clients following case assignment
- Explain the reduction process thoroughly to clients
- Accurately record phone conversations, case updates, and document uploads in the digital document system
- Ensure releases are correctly linked within Litify
- Verify eligibility and status of PIP benefits
- Confirm claimed damages by reviewing a full list of treatment providers
- Validate outstanding amounts on medical accounts
- Negotiate payment terms and balances with healthcare providers
- Distribute reduction letters in a timely manner
- Maintain biweekly client communication to address concerns
- Conduct regular case evaluations and self-audits for efficiency
- Create and track weekly performance and case projection reports
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls to relevant team members
- Take messages or redirect calls to voicemail when staff are unavailable
- Log all phone interactions and upload relevant documents into the case management platform
- Support office operations with tasks such as faxing, copying, and file maintenance
- Keep consistent contact with clients and respond to inquiries promptly
- Secure insurance coverage details efficiently
- Monitor medical treatment timelines and verify ongoing care
- Request and collect medical records and billing statements from providers
- Coordinate with insurance adjusters on treatment progress and update system records
- Perform additional assigned duties related to case administration and closure
