Help members achieve their financial goals as a Personal Banking Advisor at a forward-thinking credit union in Naples, FL. In this role, you’ll work directly with individuals and businesses to understand their unique needs, offering tailored guidance on accounts, loans, credit products, and savings strategies. Your focus will be on creating meaningful, long-term relationships through consultative service and financial education.
What You’ll Do
- Guide members through financial product options, helping them choose solutions that align with their goals, from personal loans to retirement accounts.
- Identify referral opportunities to specialized services such as mortgage, wealth management, and commercial banking, ensuring members receive comprehensive support.
- Process new accounts, loan applications, and financial transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Resolve concerns with empathy and professionalism, turning challenging interactions into positive outcomes.
- Support branch operations during peak times, including handling vault duties and stepping into supervisory roles when needed.
- Represent the credit union at community events and employer sessions to strengthen local connections and promote financial wellness.
- Collaborate with peers by sharing insights, refining sales approaches, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
What You Bring
- At least three years of experience in banking, financial services, or a related field.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; professional licensing may be required or supported within 90 days of hire.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with diverse members.
- Problem-solving ability, organizational discipline, and a commitment to accuracy in all member interactions.
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and contribute across branch functions as needed.
