TD Canada Trust is looking for a Personal Banker to serve as the frontline of TD Bank, building deep customer relationships and providing personalized financial advice. You will explore investment options and provide financial planning to promote customer loyalty and investment returns.
What You’ll Do
- Advise customers on high-level financial solutions from a range of investment and credit banking products.
- Engage customers with thoughtful financial questions to create positive experiences and deepen relationships.
- Increase customer financial confidence by providing personalized advice, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Act as a point of contact for frontline staff in handling customer problems.
- Work closely with customers to provide financial reviews, discuss portfolio updates, and suggest personalized solutions.
- Stay knowledgeable about emerging issues, evolving regulations, and industry codes of conduct.
- Participate in process improvements and help achieve service level agreements and productivity targets.
- Ensure documents are prepared consistent with regulations and properly reflect business intentions.
- Participate fully as a team member, help build a positive work environment, and mentor others.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience.
- Completion of IFIC or equivalent.
- CFSA must be completed within 12 months if hired.
- Sound knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, banking solutions, and concepts.
- Proficiency in software tools including MS Office and internet applications.
- Tactful communicator with strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
Nice to Have
- Post-secondary or undergraduate degree in a related field.
- Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience.
