Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in performance analysis or engineering with deep understanding of enterprise application architectures, including web, web services, distributed systems, mainframe databases, and messaging layers.
- Familiarity with real-time, user-facing performance testing methods and frameworks.
- Familiarity with batch and background process performance testing approaches.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring tools and KPIs used to assess availability and performance across technology stacks.
- Ability to develop and verify load test scripts using at least two of the following: HTTP, SOAP, AJAX Click and Script, ODBC, Terminal Emulator, Visual Basic, .NET, or Java.
- Skilled in real-time and post-execution analysis of load tests to validate results, identify failure root causes, and report performance defects.
- Capable of overseeing and guiding multiple performance test team activities and progress.
- Experienced in collaborating with application teams and project leaders to define load testing requirements and success metrics.
- Responsible for defining the performance testing strategy for large-scale enterprise projects such as Core Receivables.
- Provides technical guidance to performance testing teams during test planning and execution phases.
- Conducts detailed evaluation of load test outcomes to verify correctness and identify performance issues.
- Coordinates with development teams to align performance testing with release timelines and content.
- Works with application development, architecture, infrastructure, and engineering groups to resolve performance-related defects.
- Creates and maintains comprehensive performance testing documentation, including test plans, data plans, and detailed reports.
- Presents load test findings and analytical insights to project management stakeholders.
- Delivers technical, process, and quality leadership within the performance testing unit.
- Acts as a change driver by promoting innovative, efficient, and effective performance management practices.
- Proven hands-on experience across all phases of performance testing: requirements gathering, preparation, execution, and analysis.
