About the Role

Join Global Satcoms as a Performance Strategist, a managerial role within our Performance department. You’ll ensure our operations run at peak efficiency by establishing processes, implementing best practices, and fostering growth in your team. Your mission is to lead project growth initiatives, manage a high-performing team, and uphold our company philosophy.

What You'll Do

  • Lead teams in research, media planning, and strategic roadmaps for mid-sized projects.
  • Mobilize and work alongside internal teams from inception through ongoing execution and optimization.
  • Report to stakeholders on key performance indicators.
  • Organize and lead high-impact client relationship drivers, including client onboarding and business reviews.
  • Lead strategic conversations with small to mid-sized clients 1:1, proactively engaging in and monitoring client sentiment.
  • Provide constructive feedback to team members and work with senior leadership to address resourcing, performance, or economic shifts.
  • Elevate colleagues to bring best-in-class solutions to projects through their thinking and execution.
  • Support team member development to grow company performance expertise.
  • Manage team members directly or work closely with them in a mentor and advocate capacity, addressing performance challenges proactively.
  • Lead a culture of project excellence by guiding daily interactions, developing initiatives, and aligning efforts with organizational goals.
  • Monitor team workflow and use business intelligence tools to optimize people and project allocation.
  • Lead team-level conversations and support initiatives that keep us on the leading edge of performance marketing.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience executing, planning, and maintaining multi-channel, full-funnel performance marketing accounts with a media spend of $200k+ USD per month at consistently positive ROI across multiple platforms simultaneously.
  • Experience directly collaborating with and delegating to junior team members as a senior account manager.
  • Proven contribution to developing multiple team members through leading training, providing strategic guidance, and project leadership to advance them to the next stage of seniority.
  • Advanced analytical skills and experience with visualization tools like Google Sheets, Excel, Google Data Studio, or Tableau.
  • Managed performance media across a range of business verticals and sizes, responsible for pacing, forecasting, and reporting its impact on overarching business goals.
  • Successfully managed client and key stakeholder relationships via weekly meetings, quarterly presentations, and asynchronous communication channels.
  • Experience resolving difficult stakeholder situations, keeping priorities organized, and consistently securing buy-in on strategic proposals.
  • Ability to effectively communicate marketing concepts such as incrementality, KPI selection, attribution, and business economics, incorporating these into strategic approaches.

  • Compensation: $78,000 - $94,000 NZD + Benefits
