Lead and shape the strategy for visual performance channels including Paid Social, Display, and YouTube to accelerate user growth across both desktop and mobile environments. This role combines hands-on execution with team leadership, focusing on data-driven optimization, creative experimentation, and scalable acquisition tactics.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor a small team of channel specialists, offering strategic direction and career development support while actively participating in daily optimization and campaign management.
- Develop and execute performance strategies across Paid Social, Display, and Video platforms to expand self-serve user acquisition.
- Own the mobile acquisition roadmap for visual channels, including campaign structuring, measurement frameworks, and testing across app-focused inventory.
- Create and maintain a structured creative testing framework that ties visual concepts directly to business outcomes such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), and incremental lift.
- Align testing plans, budget allocation, and performance insights across channels to build a cohesive, responsive strategy.
- Collaborate with Data Science, Product, Engineering, Creative, and Marketing teams to refine attribution models, improve reporting accuracy, and implement performance-enhancing experiments.
- Track and report on channel performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to inform executive decision-making and strategic planning.
Qualifications
- 6–8+ years in digital or performance marketing with deep experience in Paid Social, Display, and Video advertising across mobile and desktop platforms.
- Proven track record in mobile user acquisition, including familiarity with app campaign structures, mobile measurement partners (MMPs), SKAN, and mobile attribution models.
- Experience connecting creative development with performance data to improve KPIs like LTV/CAC, CPA, and incrementality.
- Leadership experience managing small teams, including performance feedback, coaching, and professional growth support.
- Ability to operate as a hands-on manager—equally comfortable designing long-term strategy and diving into platform-level diagnostics and A/B testing.
- Strong analytical background with a history of using data to guide marketing decisions.
- Direct experience with major ad platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, along with external agencies and vendor partners.
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with Creative, Product Marketing, Data Science, and Engineering teams.
- Thrives in data-centric, test-driven environments and values continuous iteration and improvement.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to SQL, experimentation design, or incrementality testing frameworks is beneficial.
