Standard Bots is hiring a Performance Marketing Lead to own the engine that turns marketing dollars into qualified pipeline. At Standard Bots, we are building the world's most accessible robotics platform to bring AI-native automation into manufacturing and beyond. In this senior individual contributor role, you will report to the Head of Marketing and own the performance marketing function end-to-end, accountable for the unit economics behind every dollar spent.
What You'll Do
- Build and manage granular keyword and ad group structures across category, competitor, and deep sub-niche terms.
- Write and continuously test ad copy that maps to buyer intent at every stage of the search journey.
- Optimize keyword-level details: bids, match types, quality scores, negative keywords, and search term mining.
- Own competitor term strategy and budget allocation across campaigns based on performance data.
- Build and execute paid social campaigns across Meta and LinkedIn targeting manufacturing operators, engineers, and automation decision-makers.
- Develop creative strategies for audience enrichment and own the full creative pipeline for ads.
- Maintain a clear strategy for balancing prospecting and retargeting spend.
- Own conversion architecture across landing pages and website flows, running a structured A/B testing program.
- Work with design and development to rapidly produce, launch, and iterate on test variants.
- Think like a UX strategist, focusing on hierarchy, messaging, CTAs, form design, and page speed.
- Own the integration layer between advertising platforms, CRM, and analytics, building and maintaining tracking infrastructure.
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize martech tools that improve targeting, measurement, or workflow efficiency.
- Be the person who understands how data moves between systems and can diagnose issues.
- Own Standard Bots' SQL generation targets and cost-per-SQL goals, optimizing the full funnel from impression to closed-won.
- Report on performance with clarity and precision through dashboards and regular reviews.
What We're Looking For
- 5–7 years of hands-on performance marketing experience.
- At least 2–3 years in B2B technology, industrial, or manufacturing-adjacent markets with long sales cycles and technical buyers.
- Deep expertise across paid search, paid social, and conversion rate optimization.
- Fluency with Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Analytics, and HubSpot.
- Strong understanding of marketing technology architecture—how platforms connect, data flows, and how to build reliable tracking.
- Sharp analytical instincts, thinking in terms of unit economics, funnel math, and statistical significance.
- Excellent ad copywriting skills for search ads, social copy, and landing pages.
- A bias toward speed and testing.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving startup where you'll own the function.
Nice to Have
- Experience marketing to manufacturers, plant operators, or industrial engineers.
- Familiarity with robotics, automation, or adjacent hardware/software categories.
- Experience with Conversion API (CAPI) implementations for Meta and Google.
- Based in or near New York, or open to hybrid work.
