Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) is hiring a Performance Manager for its Technology Chief Controls Office (TCCO). In this role, you will be instrumental in enabling Technology to deliver on its strategic agenda through proactive and sustainable innovation. You will lead the orchestration and delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives to drive meaningful change and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Orchestrate strategic planning and prioritisation, translating strategic objectives into execution and facilitating continuous improvement across Domains.
- Drive performance tracking, pro-actively identify actions & interventions for escalation, and provide expertise on tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with leadership to establish business commitments and outcomes through the Quarterly Domain Memo process.
- Coordinate thorough preparation ahead of TCCO, QBR, Small Room Planning and Big Room Planning sessions.
- Facilitate Domain Performance & Capability forums and contribute insights to discussions on complex orchestration items.
- Monitor performance and flow metrics, leveraging digital dashboards to provide actionable data-driven insights.
- Lead and coach a network of Performance Champions across Domains to ensure consistent adoption of performance frameworks.
- Actively lead to improving the discipline through effective problem solving and facilitate knowledge sharing of best practices.
- Oversee the content and quality of their CoE’s, ensuring information is accurate and up to date in systems/tools.
- Track workforce and support decision-making on resources to enable delivery of outcomes.
- Prepare governance reports, identify actions and interventions for escalation, and conduct in-depth reviews of initiatives.
- Track progress against committed OKRs.
- Support improving procedures to ensure the business area attains OKRs, including agility metrics.
- Embed Agile Ways of Working – Champion Pace agile practices and continuous improvement.
- Manage Benefits Realization – Track and report on outcomes of strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate Performance Reporting & Insights – Use data and analytics to monitor delivery velocity and performance metrics.
- Support Capability Uplift – Design and deliver training for OKRs, planning, and agile practices.
- Foster Collaboration & Communication – Act as a connector across TCCO, Tech Strategy, and other stakeholders.
- Champion Innovation & AI Literacy – Leverage emerging technologies for efficiency and insight.
- Drive Quarterly Planning & OKR Alignment – Facilitate planning ceremonies, ensure objectives cascade effectively.
- Enable Risk & Compliance Integration – Align delivery with operational risk, regulatory requirements, and TCCO frameworks.
- Coordinate Strategic Programs – Oversee execution of transformation initiatives and regulatory engagements.
- Resource & Workforce Planning – Optimize allocation and forecasting for critical programs.
