M&T Bank is looking for a Performance & Incentive Analytics - Lead Analyst to streamline ongoing activities and lead the assessment, planning, and implementation of key projects. You will represent the unit in cross-functional efforts and drive service and productivity improvements.
What You'll Do
- Develop and produce high-complexity departmental reports and spreadsheets for project analysis, historical reporting, workflow analysis, and financial analysis.
- Identify trends and emerging issues, engage stakeholders to develop project plans, and communicate findings via white papers and reports.
- Perform complex, judgment-based analysis across multiple disciplines to support business decisions.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of reporting dashboards, analyze large data sets for meaningful insights, and communicate findings to management.
- Lead continuous improvement of existing processes and develop new or enhanced processes, including procedural documentation.
- Lead in the planning and implementation of new projects and programs to achieve short and long-term business objectives.
- Take a lead role in supporting departmental audits, including user recertifications and compliance testing.
- Manage the planning, testing, and implementation of new projects, systems, products, and regulatory changes impacting the unit.
- Act as lead for departmental system support, coordinating with business partners, vendors, and technology to address issues.
- Adhere to applicable compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with Company and regulatory standards.
- Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
- Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of audit points.
- Act as an advisor and coach to mentor junior team members and may provide direction to more junior staff.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of related business line experience.
- OR a combined minimum of 8 years of higher education and/or work experience in lieu of a degree.
Benefits & Compensation
- Annual salary range: $71,985.72 - $119,976.20 USD
