M&T Bank is looking for a Performance & Incentive Analytics - Lead Analyst to streamline ongoing activities and lead the assessment, planning, and implementation of key projects. You will represent the unit in cross-functional efforts and drive service and productivity improvements.

What You'll Do

Develop and produce high-complexity departmental reports and spreadsheets for project analysis, historical reporting, workflow analysis, and financial analysis.
Identify trends and emerging issues, engage stakeholders to develop project plans, and communicate findings via white papers and reports.
Perform complex, judgment-based analysis across multiple disciplines to support business decisions.
Lead the creation and maintenance of reporting dashboards, analyze large data sets for meaningful insights, and communicate findings to management.
Lead continuous improvement of existing processes and develop new or enhanced processes, including procedural documentation.
Lead in the planning and implementation of new projects and programs to achieve short and long-term business objectives.
Take a lead role in supporting departmental audits, including user recertifications and compliance testing.
Manage the planning, testing, and implementation of new projects, systems, products, and regulatory changes impacting the unit.
Act as lead for departmental system support, coordinating with business partners, vendors, and technology to address issues.
Adhere to applicable compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with Company and regulatory standards.
Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of audit points.
Act as an advisor and coach to mentor junior team members and may provide direction to more junior staff.

What We're Looking For

A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of related business line experience.
OR a combined minimum of 8 years of higher education and/or work experience in lieu of a degree.
