Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning initiatives
- Partner with leaders across the business on employee relations and people management matters
- Maintain and improve HR policies, procedures and compliance across NZ and Australian employment legislation
- Drive engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives across the organisation
- Coordinate learning and development programmes aligned to business capability needs
- Support remuneration and performance review processes
- Manage HR operations including offboarding, HRIS administration, reporting and compliance activities
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives in partnership with Marketing
- Work collaboratively with remote workforce providers to ensure consistent people practices and employee experience
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a generalist Talent & People role
- Strong experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes
- Knowledge of New Zealand employment law and health & safety requirements
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
- High emotional intelligence with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working with HR systems and people data
Nice to Have
- Previous experience within technology, MSP or professional services environments
- Coaching experience or qualifications highly regarded
- Exposure to Australian employment law advantageous
