Oscilar is hiring a People Operations Manager

About the Role

Oscilar is looking for a strategic and hands-on People Operations Manager to build our People function from the ground up. You will elevate the employee experience and create scalable programs that align with our mission, values, and growth. This role oversees the entire employee lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Design, manage, and continuously improve performance review cycles.
  • Implement career development programs and frameworks that promote growth and retention.
  • Partner with Finance and Leadership on compensation reviews, bonus structures, employee levels, and equity planning.
  • Own and manage the entire suite of Employee Benefits.
  • Oversee a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Design and administer employee engagement surveys, analyze results, and drive improvements.
  • Lead initiatives focused on recognition, offsites, events, and rituals that strengthen culture.
  • Implement AI-powered tools and automations to reduce operational load.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to managers on people-related strategy and org design.
  • Oversee core HR processes, including payroll, compliance, benefits, policies, and systems.
  • Stand up and own key compliance infrastructure like policy reviews and audits.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation across all People processes and tooling.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Business Partnering, or similar roles, ideally in high-growth or startup environments.
  • Proven track record implementing performance management, compensation, and engagement programs.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance.
  • Analytical and data-driven; able to derive insights from people metrics.
  • Experience building HR programs from scratch and leveraging AI to improve employee experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Empathetic, proactive, and deeply committed to creating an exceptional employee experience.
  • Exceptional project management skills and proven ability to own initiatives end-to-end.
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
