Theta is hiring a People & Culture - Administrator

Requirements

  • A completed tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 1–2 years’ experience in HR, People & Culture, recruitment, administration, coordination or a related role.
  • A genuine passion for supporting people across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, learning, engagement, performance and offboarding.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence maintaining accurate and confidential records.
  • Practical analytical skills, with the ability to work with people-related data and spot trends.
  • A proactive, curious and enthusiastic approach, with the confidence to use initiative and ask questions.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, solve problems and meet deadlines.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and GenAI tools, with the ability to pick up new systems and contribute to improving processes.

Nice to Have

  • An interest in HR and some understanding of New Zealand employment law.
  • Experience with, or confidence learning, HRIS systems and software; experience with ELMO would be advantageous.
