You will manage end-to-end payroll operations for employees in the Netherlands, including those on international assignments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. Your responsibilities include leading monthly payroll reviews, conducting in-depth validations, and resolving complex payroll cases with precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly payroll control cycle, performing detailed audits and reconciliations
- Act as the go-to expert for expatriate and impatriate payroll matters
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, employees, and external payroll providers to resolve inquiries and ensure smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with Dutch tax, pension, and labor regulations
- Coordinate with the People Services Center in India and external vendors to maintain data integrity and service levels
- Support timely submissions to tax authorities and pension institutions
- Use data analysis to detect anomalies, inefficiencies, and risks in payroll processes
- Contribute to process optimization projects and post-payroll evaluations
- Drive standardization and quality improvements across payroll functions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of four years in payroll, ideally within a multinational organization
- Strong command of Dutch payroll legislation and internal control frameworks
- Proven experience handling international assignments and cross-border payroll
- Fluent in both Dutch and English
- Advanced skills in Excel for managing and analyzing large datasets
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and structured in approach
- Capable of working independently under tight deadlines
- Experience working in international, collaborative environments
